Modern Dance Fitness (1 hour)
Fitness with artistic expression. Modern dance technique is the base for this class while incorporating other dance styles including ballet technique to tone, strengthen, develop grace and improve posture. Includes a thorough warm up and lots of dancing and moving to an assortment of music.
New! Contemporary (1 hour)
A contemporary dance style with the freedom and
athleticism of modern dance. It focuses on centering alignment, floor work,
control, breathing, and balance.
Floor Barre (1 hour)
Strength training using a combination of ballet, core stabilization, yoga and boot camp for improved placement and flexibility. An hour of hell on the floor, but with great results. Always a popular class. (Inquire about child minding if needed!)
Ballet Barre (.75 hours)
Using principles of dance, work at the Barre helps balance, alignment, and coordination. Long, lean muscle is built as flexibility and posture improve and the core becomes stronger. No previous dance experience is necessary. There is no performance component and no special dance wear required. All you need is the desire to experience beautiful movement while your body becomes more flexible, graceful, and healthy.
