Classes begin September 15 and end with a June performance (approx. 33 weeks of instruction)

No Dance dates:

Wednesday, October 8 - Monday, October 13 inclusive (Thanksgiving break)

Tuesday, November 11 (Remembrance Day)

Monday, December 15 - Sunday, January 4 inclusive (Christmas break)

Monday, March 16 - Sunday, March 22 inclusive (Spring break)

Friday, April 10 - Monday, April 13 inclusive (Easter)

Monday, May 18 (Victoria Day)
Parent viewing week: December 8 - 13 & March 9 - 14 (unless otherwise noted by instructor)

The last 2 weeks of classes are designated for rehearsals and performance. Schedule may vary.

Dress Rehearsal Saturday, June 6

End of Year Performance Saturday, June 13 & Sunday, June 14 (Performing dancers must participate both days.)

Some classes may offer special session dates and rates

Fees (All payments are required in advance)

• Annual registraton fee $25 per family* (adult classes & special sessions excluded) must be added to first payment. *Registration fee is WAIVED if you register and pay with 1 of the 3 payment options BEFORE Septmeber 5.
• All post dated cheques must be received at time of registration.
• No participation without payment and registration form. 
• Withdraw policy: 1 MONTH ADVANCE WRITTEN NOTICE (email acceptable) required for all withdrawals. Notice must be given at least one month BEFORE the cheque is dated to be posted. This allows the studio time to find replacement student if applicable and make accounting adjustments for instructor fees. No partial month refunds. Dance fees are not refundable after March 1.
• No withdraws accepted after March 1. No new student registration after March 1. (Show choreography and costumes will be set at this time.)
• All classes are subject to minimum and maximum enrollment. Complete refunds will be issued for classes cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
• NSF fee $25
• All fees include GST
• Costumes costs additional and to be determined January - March.

TUITION based per dancer averaged over a 9 month dance year (approx. 33 weeks of instruction)

3 payment options (all cheques received in advance at time of registration payable to Sooke Dance Studio)

1) 1 cheque dated September 1

2) 3 payments dated September 1, December 1, March 1

3) 9 payments dated September 1, October 1, November 1, December 1, January 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, May 1

This payment plan is only valid for September registration. All other registration is determined by prorated months.

Family discount: Take 10% off second, third and fourth immediate family members.
 

Dance should be accessible to all. ~ If necessary, special payment arrangements can be made through discussion with Carole.
